April
2026Physical Date Cutoff
TSSAA physicals must be dated April 15 or later to be valid for the 2026–27 season.
All-Program Parent Meeting
First major parent meeting of the year. Block this one — it sets the tone for the season.
Spring Ball Begins
Spring practice opens for rising sophomores and up. Runs through May 15.

2026Spring Game & End of Spring Ball
Spring practice wraps with a home Spring Game.
Summer Sessions Start!
The long and winding road begins on May 26th for all grades! Sophs-Seniors: 8AM til 11AM; Freshmen: 9AM til Noon
Youth Varsity Football Camp
Volunteers needed. Great way for varsity players to lead and for the program to connect with feeder schools.
June
2026Girls' Flag Football Camp
Second of the two youth camps. Volunteers welcome.
TSSAA Dead Period Begins
No-contact period starts. Runs through July 5. No organized team activity during this window.

2026TSSAA Dead Period Ends
Team activities resume.
Pre-Season Virtual Parent Meeting
Second parent meeting, focused on getting everyone aligned for the upcoming season. Zoom call invite to be provided.
Media Day
Team photos, individual shots, headshots, and position groups. Target dates are Jul 10, 17, 24, or 31 — confirmed closer to the event.
Senior Night Info Deadline
Since Senior Night is our Aug 21 opener, senior families must submit walk-out info (family names, stats, post-grad plans, photos) by late-July. Form goes out in early July. Late info may not make the tribute materials.
August
2026Campus Cleanup
All-hands workday to prep campus and facilities for the season.
Heart of the Huddle Breakfast
All the women of Indy Football gather to connect, hear from Coach Blade, and tour the locker rooms!
Parent Hosted Class Meals
Varsity Classes (Soph-Senior) hold Parent Hosted Team Meals on Thursday Nights throughout the season.
Scrimmage @ Centennial
First preseason scrimmage. All levels.
Scrimmage @ Lebanon
Second preseason scrimmage. All levels.
Senior Night · Varsity Season Opener
First regular-season game and Senior Night walk-out. Pre-game recognition for all seniors. More details to come closer to August.
JV & Freshman Season Openers
Monday night opener for both sub-varsity teams.

2026Labor Day · JV & Freshman Bye
No JV or Freshman games this week. Varsity schedule unaffected.
October
2026Homecoming Week
Float builds for Sophs-Seniors, parade, homecoming game.
Varsity Bye · Fall Break
No varsity game, but there is ALWAYS practice! Rescheduled Brentwood matchup for JV & Freshman happens this week.
Varsity Regular Season Ends
Last regular-season varsity game.

2026TSSAA Playoffs
Brackets and game dates released after the regular season.
December
2026Annual Football Banquet
End-of-season celebration. Player awards, senior recognition, and a community gathering. Date confirmed after the season ends.
