Ground Rules

A Few Simple Guidelines

A shared set of expectations keeps the channels useful for everyone. Nothing formal — just good practice.

01

Right Channel, Right Message

Use the channel designed for the message. Logistics and carpools belong in GroupMe, coach questions go through the Indy App, and official announcements come through email.

02

Respect the Coaches' Time

Don't DM coaches for non-urgent things. For general questions, email the TDC — we'll route it. Coaches coach; we clear their runway.

03

Keep GroupMe Focused

Team logistics, game-day coordination, quick questions — yes. Lengthy debates, politics, or off-topic conversation — move it elsewhere. Respect everyone's notifications.

04

Share the Good Stuff

Like, share, and tag our social posts. Especially sponsor content — it's the easiest way to thank the businesses that fund the program and help us grow next year's list.

05

Speak Up if You're Missing Things

If you're not getting messages, your email isn't landing, or you can't find the right GroupMe — email us. Better to ask than miss the season's big moments.

06

Be the Community We Want

These channels reflect who we are as a program. Keep it supportive, keep it positive, and remember every message has a player's family reading it.
